mds Fabric clergy collar/collarettes- The holy trinity of construction, strength and softness.
mds FABRIC COLLARS / COLLARETTES Simple Points for Use and Care Congratulations!
Congratulations. You’re now the proud owner of an MDS Fabric Collar — made for today’s clergy who appreciate comfort, quality, and a bit of relief from those unyielding plastic rings of the past. Our collars are 100% pure cotton (or fine linen if you prefer), which breathe beautifully, move with you, and — unlike plastic — don’t squeak when you turn your head.
Each collar/collarette is crafted with three inner linings: firmness on the outside for a crisp appearance, strength in the middle for durability, and softness on the inside — where comfort truly counts. All Fabric collarettes designed and built only by mds. Roman, Brothers and Anglican.

Getting the Perfect Fit. Once ironed, fold the collar in half lengthwise and gently roll it over your knee or any rounded object (we promise, this is easier done than said). In moments, it will form the perfect curve to fit your neck effortlessly. The fabric naturally adapts to your shape — like it was made just for you — and never gets sticky or clammy.
Washing and Care. Keeping your mds collar fresh couldn’t be simpler. Machine wash or hand wash — whichever your laundry day spirit prefers. For extra care, scrub the neckline lightly with a bit of soapy water before washing (an old toothbrush works miracles — truly).
After washing, dry the collar flat and iron it while it’s still slightly damp. Start with the back side, finish on the front, and admire your handiwork. Although tossing it in the dryer won’t cause irreparable harm, air drying will help it live a longer and happier life.
With just a little care, your mds collar will serve you faithfully (no pun intended) for years to come. For maximum comfort and a polished look, pair it with one of our mds or mds Omega pure cotton shirts.
Thank you for trusting MDS — where comfort meets tradition, and collars finally make sense.
